The Alumni Association sponsors Alumni Weekend, Homecoming and class and affinity group reunions each year – a wonderful way to reconnect on campus with fellow alumni!

Nearly 500 current students have one, or both parents, that attended Slippery Rock University!
Regional Alumni Events
In lieu of specific chapters, the SRU Alumni Association makes an effort to host alumni receptions across the region each year in key areas where alumni reside. These areas include:
Pennsylvania: Butler County, Erie, Harrisburg, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh
Ohio: Cincinnati, Cleveland and Columbus
Florida: Bradenton, Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Naples, Orlando, Tampa and The Villages
North Carolina: Charlotte, Raleigh, Sunset Beach (Myrtle Beach area)
Texas: Dallas and Houston
Key Cities: New York, Boston, Washington, D.C.

Awards
- The Alumni Association sponsors and supports a number of awards including the Distinguished Alumni Award, Rock Solid 10 Under 10 Award and Past Presidents’ Service Award.
- The Alumni Association also provides graduating seniors with the Summa Cum Laude medallion and the Outstanding Senior Award.
- All graduating seniors receive the Alumni Association Zipper Pull to be worn on their commencement gown
